A letter from our Founder

The idea for the Breastfeeding Buddy emerged from a deeply personal experience. As a mother myself, I understand the challenges and joys of breastfeeding firsthand. Like many breastfeeders, I encountered difficulties with positioning and latch, which often led to discomfort and frustration for both me and my baby.

I vividly remember the struggle of holding my feeding breast with one hand while cradling my baby in the other. Every feeding session, some lasting an hour every four hours, felt like a balancing act where even a simple task like reaching for a drink or adjusting my hair became a challenge without risking losing the latch.

After consulting with maternal health professionals and lactation experts, I began using a rolled-up face washer to support my breast during feeding. While it provided some relief, it was far from ideal—especially when out in public. Fuelled by my natural inclination as a problem-solver, I embarked on a mission to find a better solution.

That's when the idea for the Breastfeeding Buddy was born. Determined to create a product that would make breastfeeding positioning easier and more comfortable for breastfeeders everywhere, I got to work. With a trip to the local store for materials and a lot of trial and error, the first prototype of the Breastfeeding Buddy was born - and it became my trusted companion throughout my breastfeeding journey.

The positive impact it had on my own experience made me realise that other breastfeeders could benefit from this solution too. That's when I decided to turn my prototype into a fully engineered and professionally manufactured product.

Fast forward four years, and we are proud to introduce the Breastfeeding Buddy; a trademarked, patent and design pending innovation designed to sit under your bust, lifting the breast and nipple into the optimal feeding position.

Whether you're a new parent navigating the challenges of breastfeeding or a seasoned parent looking for better solutions, we invite you to join us on this journey. Together, let's make feeding time a better, less stressful experience for breastfeeders and babies everywhere.

Our Mission

The Breastfeeding Buddy is Born

We created your go-to product to help with breastfeeding positioning. Sitting under your bust, it has been designed to lift the breast and nipple into the optimal feeding position.

We used 100% silicone to ensure it sticks to your skin unaided through natural surface tension, and is safe for external use.

Industry experts and parents have told us it helps relieve stress on the breast tissue and supporting muscles, enhances posture, frees up a hand and helps with milk flow.

The Breastfeeding Buddy has made feeding time a better and less stressful experience for feeders and their bubs.
