The difference a few weeks makes ...
For a newborn and a new mum, a few weeks can make an incredible difference. In those early weeks, babies grow and change rapidly, feeding routines begin to take shape, confidence starts to build and support can make all the difference to a family's journey.
The last few weeks have also been an exciting period for The Breastfeeding Buddy and for the broader maternal health community. We celebrated Mother’s Day and recognised two important healthcare milestones; International Day of the Midwife and International Nurses Day.
We were also thrilled to welcome four new retail partners across Australia and New Zealand including Mom Store, Raspberry Lane and The Fashion Baby & Co. We will be proud to release The Buddy to all Baby Village stores in NSW in the coming weeks.
We are incredibly excited to have Nurtured Medical in Sydney NSW using The Breastfeeding Buddy in clinic every day to support families on their feeding journeys. Founded by Dr Eliza Hannam, Nurtured Medical provides evidence-based and realistic care throughout pregnancy, postpartum and early parenthood.
Led by Eliza and a team of highly experienced practitioners, the clinic has extensive breastfeeding expertise, with practitioners qualified as International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) or currently completing their IBCLC training.
The growth in The Buddy over the past few weeks reflects the increasing momentum around women’s and postpartum care, with rising investment, awareness and demand for practical feeding and postpartum solutions helping more families discover and access products like The Breastfeeding Buddy.
Seeing The Buddy used by highly experienced clinicians and becoming more accessible to families through retail and clinical channels is incredibly exciting as we continue supporting more mums on their feeding journeys.
Yes, thats right ... change is here!
We have recently introduced a new storage bag for ALL Breastfeeding Buddy orders. Instead of the drawstring bags, all Buddy's purchased will be housed in a custom sized and coloured neoprene bag.
We have also changed the colour of the Small Buddy - meet our new pink colour! She is pretty cute and definitely fits into the range a bit better!
