At Breastfeeding Buddy, our mission has always been simple yet profound: to make the breastfeeding journey a little easier, and a lot more supported. While The Buddy itself is a practical tool, the heart of what we do has always been about connection, community, and compassion. Today, we’re proud to share some meaningful milestones that reflect this purpose in action.
Supporting Mothers Through The Held Project
Earlier this year, we partnered with The Held Project, an organisation dedicated to nurturing mothers in vulnerable circumstances. The Held Project provides safe spaces, resources, and heartfelt support for women navigating some of the most challenging seasons of motherhood.
Through product donations, Breastfeeding Buddy has contributed to their care packages, ensuring that more women have access to the kind of support that can make a real difference in those tender early days. We believe that when practical tools meet compassionate community care, mothers are reminded they are never alone.
The Buddy and SA Health Teaming Up

We are delighted to share that Breastfeeding Buddies are now being used at Mount Barker District Soldiers' Memorial Hospital in South Australia. Funded by the SA Government, this initiative means more women will have access to The Buddy from day one of their breastfeeding journey.
Hospitals play such a pivotal role in shaping those first experiences of feeding, and we are honoured to see The Buddy included as part of the care provided to new mothers. This step represents not just validation of the product, but also a shared commitment to supporting maternal wellbeing at a system level.
Voices That Inspire Us

Every time we hear from a mother who has used the Breastfeeding Buddy, we are reminded why our work matters. Here is one of our most recent reviews.
These words reflect the very heart of our mission: to provide tools that don’t just solve a practical problem, but empower women to feel more confident and capable in their role as mothers.
Looking Ahead
As we continue to grow, partnerships like The Held Project and initiatives like the rollout with SA Health remind us that meaningful impact comes from working together. Breastfeeding Buddy is more than a product, it is part of a collective effort to ensure that no mother has to navigate the challenges of breastfeeding unsupported.
To every mum, health professional, and community partner who shares in this vision, thank you. Together, we are creating a future where support is not a privilege, but a given.
